Brilliant Stars arrived in early 2022 as a cornerstone set for the Pokémon TCG's modern era, bridging the high-demand Sword & Shield block with the generation that followed. The set became known for its striking Cosmos Holo finish—an experimental texture that gave cards an ethereal, galaxy-like shimmer. This exclusive treatment represented the hobby's ongoing innovation in visual design and collector appeal. Moltres, the legendary fire bird, carries particular significance as one of the original legendary trio from Pokémon's foundation. Collectors are drawn to this card for its dynamic depiction and the Cosmos Holo's enhanced effect on such an iconic subject, making it a natural focal point for both set collectors and those pursuing the legendary birds across different printings and treatments.
