Paldean Fates marked a significant milestone in 2024 as Pokemon's first full-set reprint collection featuring Shiny Pokemon. Released during the Scarlet & Violet era, this set captured collector enthusiasm by offering accessibility to popular cards in their alternate colorways, bridging newer players with veteran collectors seeking nostalgic chase cards in fresh presentations. Clodsire ex appears here as a Shiny Ultra Rare, rendering the mud-dwelling Pokemon in striking alternate hues. The card combines competitive playability with visual appeal, attracting collectors who appreciate both the artistic interpretation of beloved Pokemon and the technical achievement of producing full-art shiny cards at scale.
