Pokémon Stellar Crown arrived in 2024 as part of the Scarlet & Violet era, continuing the modern TCG's push toward premium full-art cards and experimental mechanics. The set represents a period when Pokémon Company International embraced higher print volumes and broader accessibility while maintaining chase cards for collectors. Stellar Crown reflects current collecting trends—mixing competitive playability with aesthetic appeal for an audience invested in both gameplay and artistry. Lapras ex as a full-art card captures this balance perfectly. The aquatic icon appears in a dynamic, expressive illustration that celebrates the character's presence beyond standard gameplay frames. Full-art Pokémon ex cards remain popular with collectors who appreciate the expanded canvas and artistic interpretation, making this version of Lapras sought after by both nostalgic players and modern art collectors.
