Jungle was the second major expansion released for the Pokémon Trading Card Game in 1999, continuing the explosive growth of the TCG phenomenon. Released just months after Base Set's unprecedented success, Jungle introduced new Pokémon, mechanics, and artwork that defined the early competitive and collecting landscape. The set remains a cornerstone of first-edition collecting and represents the golden age when Pokémon cards transcended toys to become serious collector items. Eevee appears here as a classic Stage 1 Pokémon with appealing artwork that captures the character's charm. Eevee cards hold particular appeal for collectors building type-focused collections or pursuing complete set runs, and early printings of popular Pokémon from this era remain highly sought after by both nostalgic fans and serious hobbyists.
