Obsidian Flames arrived in 2023 as a standard expansion that continued the Scarlet & Violet era's momentum. The set maintained the modern Pokemon TCG's focus on competitive viability alongside collector appeal, featuring the distinctive dark aesthetic its name suggests. It represented the ongoing evolution of the game during a period when the hobby remained robust and engaged. Poppy is a Supporter card featuring the Galar region character known for her role in Pokemon Sword & Shield games. Collectors appreciate Supporter cards for both gameplay utility and their character artwork, and Poppy's Ultra Rare illustration captures the appeal that draws players and fans to complete their collections.
