Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a special collection box release that captured collector enthusiasm during Pokémon's explosive comeback period. This set introduced the Shining mechanic—a premium rarity designation featuring distinctive holofoil patterns—alongside Pokémon V cards. The combination of accessible distribution and visually striking cards made Shining Fates immediately popular among both nostalgic fans returning to the hobby and newer collectors, cementing its significance in the modern era. Cinderace V represents one of the set's standout Pokémon, the final evolution of the Galar region starter and a fan-favorite competitive battler. Collectors are drawn to this card for its dynamic artwork and appeal as a powerful Pokémon with genuine competitive presence. As a high-profile V card from an already sought-after set, it remains a key piece for enthusiasts building Shining Fates collections.
