Shiny Treasure ex arrived in 2023 as one of Pokemon's premium Japanese releases, celebrating the enduring appeal of shiny and full-art cards that defined the modern TCG era. The set captured collector enthusiasm during a period when Japanese releases offered distinct artwork and production quality that set them apart from English counterparts. Double Rare cards within the set represented some of its most visually striking offerings, blending competitive playability with aesthetic appeal. Forretress ex appears here as a Double Rare, featuring the armored steel-type Pokemon in dynamic presentation. This card attracts collectors drawn to both the Pokemon itself and the beautiful illustration work characteristic of premium Japanese releases. The ex mechanic and dual-rare designation make it a notable pull from the set.
