EX Unseen Forces arrived in 2005 as a pivotal set in the Pokemon Trading Card Game's expansion era. Released during the height of competitive play and collecting enthusiasm, it introduced powerful EX mechanics alongside striking reverse holo designs that became highly sought after. The set remains memorable for its innovative card effects and the visual appeal of its reversed foil patterns, which offered collectors a fresh alternative to standard holos. Gloom represents classic Pokemon evolution lineage with botanical charm. The reverse holo treatment enhances the card's gentle aesthetic, making it particularly appealing to collectors drawn to nature-themed imagery and complete family collections. Gloom's presence in this era set remains relevant to those building thematic collections or revisiting early 2000s Pokemon TCG nostalgia.
