Paldea Evolved arrived in 2023 as a cornerstone set for the modern Pokémon TCG era, building momentum from Scarlet and Violet's launch. This set introduced compelling mechanics and featured Pokémon from Generation IX, solidifying the generation's place in the trading card landscape during a period of sustained hobby growth and renewed collector interest. Ting-Lu ex represents the competitive and collectible appeal of the set's ex cards. This ancient guardian Pokémon, depicted with striking artwork befitting its legendary status, draws collectors who appreciate both the gameplay strength of ex Pokémon and the artistic presentation of Paldea's mythological creatures. The card remains a sought-after piece from the set's ultra-rare offerings.
