Lost Origin arrived in late 2022 as one of the final sets of the Scarlet & Violet era's opening wave, capturing collector interest during a period of renewed enthusiasm for Pokémon TCG. The set embraced the franchise's Legends: Arceus lore, delivering thematically rich cards that appealed to both competitive players and set collectors seeking meaningful artwork and mechanics. Volo's full art illustration presents the character in dynamic fashion, rendered with the vibrant detail that defines modern Pokémon full arts. As a key figure from the Legends games, Volo resonated with players invested in that storyline, making this version a natural centerpiece for dedicated collectors building complete sets or pursuing all full art variants.
