Pokémon Celebrations was released in 2021 to commemorate the franchise's 25th anniversary, bringing nostalgic reprints alongside new artwork to honor the series' cultural legacy. The set captured collector interest across both longtime fans and newcomers, bridging generations of the hobby. Its special releases and limited availability made it one of the era's most accessible entry points for modern collecting. Mew appears here as card 11, rendered in classic holographic style. This legendary Psychic-type has always held special significance in Pokémon lore as the most ancient and powerful creature, and its presence in Celebrations reinforced the set's role as a retrospective on the franchise's foundation. Collectors appreciate this version for its clean design and nostalgic appeal.
