Ghosts From the Past: The 2nd Haunting arrived in 2022 as a nostalgia-driven special set that reintroduced classic cards alongside fresh reprints and new releases. The set became notable for giving collectors access to hard-to-find vintage material while simultaneously supporting contemporary deck-building through newly printed cards like this one. It occupied a unique space between reverence for Yu-Gi-Oh's history and investment in its ongoing competitive landscape. Despia, Theater of the Brand represents the Despia archetype's theatrical aesthetic—a thematic blend of dramatic imagery and strategic depth that appeals to players and collectors alike. The card's artwork captures the surreal, stage-like atmosphere that defines the Despia lore, making it visually distinctive within the broader Yu-Gi-Oh universe and a natural draw for both competitive players and art enthusiasts.
