Ghosts From the Past: The 2nd Haunting (2022) represented a milestone in Yu-Gi-Oh! nostalgia collecting. This set revisited classic archetypes and strategies through the lens of modern card design, offering both veteran players and newer collectors a chance to experience legacy decks with fresh mechanics. The first edition ultra rare printing became particularly sought after among serious collectors for its rarity and visual appeal. Mardel stands as a key boss monster in the Generaider archetype, embodying the mystical warrior aesthetic that defines the strategy. The card's striking artwork captures intricate detail and dynamic composition that collectors appreciate, while its mechanical role as an archetype centerpiece makes it relevant both to competitive players and those building thematic collections.
