Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as one of the most celebrated modern Pokémon releases, delivering premium production quality and a carefully curated selection of fan-favorite characters in their shiny variants. The set's Shiny Vault subset became instantly iconic, combining elegant full-art presentation with limited pull rates that made each card feel genuinely special. This era marked peak interest in Pokémon's modern era, with Shining Fates standing as a milestone release many collectors still pursue today. Arctovish represents the quirky appeal of Galar's fossil Pokémon line—creatures reassembled from mismatched ancient parts. The shiny iteration transforms its coloration in striking ways, and the full-art treatment showcases this unusual design beautifully. Collectors gravitate toward this card for both its visual intrigue and its place within the complete Shiny Vault checklist.
