Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a premium subset celebrating the Galar region with enhanced full-art treatments and shiny Pokémon. Released during peak pandemic collecting frenzy, it became one of the most sought-after modern sets, balancing accessibility with genuine scarcity through the Shiny Vault's limited pull rates. The set remains a defining moment when Pokémon TCG experienced explosive mainstream resurgence. Rillaboom V showcases the grass-type powerhouse in its shiny form, rendered in striking metallic hues across a lush, energetic full-art composition. As a Shiny Vault full-art card, it represents the intersection of competitive relevance and collector appeal—Rillaboom's utility in the format combined with the visual appeal of shiny cards and premium artwork makes it enduringly popular among players and collectors alike.
