Black Star Promos represented Pokemon Company's way of celebrating special moments and partnerships during the Sword & Shield era. These cards existed outside traditional set releases, often distributed through premium products, special events, or retail partnerships. They provided collectors with unique artwork and alternate presentations of popular Pokemon, making them distinct from their standard set counterparts. Oricorio, the dancing Pokemon, captures the spirit of this tropical creature's graceful, rhythmic nature. The holo treatment brings additional visual appeal to an already striking subject. Collectors appreciate Black Star Promos for their accessibility and the opportunity to own special versions of fan-favorite Pokemon without chasing elusive secret rares or chase cards from standard sets.
