Scarlet & Violet marked Pokemon TCG's ninth generation, launching in early 2023 with fresh mechanics and striking visual design. The set energized collectors after years of pandemic-era volatility, reestablishing the hobby's mainstream presence. Its Full Art cards became particularly sought after, showcasing the illustrators' talents across bordered, dynamic compositions that elevated the artistic standard of modern Pokemon releases. Arcanine ex's Full Art treatment captures the legendary fire dog in commanding form, rendered with the vibrant detail that defined this era's premium cards. The ex mechanic's return gave collectors powerful gameplay options alongside aesthetic appeal, making Full Arts from this set compelling from both competitive and collecting angles.
