The Legendary Treasures set arrived in late 2013 as a curated collection celebrating iconic Pokémon from across the franchise's history. Its Radiant Collection subset introduced a special full-art treatment that reimagined classic characters with fresh artwork and extended borders, capturing collector interest during a period of renewed enthusiasm for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Mew EX represents the set's appeal perfectly—this legendary psychic-type has always held special significance in Pokémon lore as the rarest of rarities. The full-art rendering brings an ethereal quality to the character, making this version particularly attractive to players and collectors who appreciate both the game's competitive history and the artistic presentation that defines modern collecting.
