Celestial Storm arrived in August 2018 as a strong mid-era Sun & Moon set, bringing fresh competitive options and beloved characters to standard play. The era was defined by rapid rotation and experimental card mechanics, and Celestial Storm delivered both with its Prism Star mechanic—a unique gimmick that limited deck flexibility while rewarding strategic deckbuilding. Collectors remember this period as the hobby's golden age of experimental design before later standardization. Jirachi Prism Star captures the mythical steel-psychic legendary with holographic foil treatment, making it a striking centerpiece. This version appeals to collectors for its rarity designation, distinctive mechanics that shaped competitive formats, and Jirachi's enduring popularity across generations. The combination of the Prism Star designation and holo finish ensures it remains sought after by both format enthusiasts and general Pokemon fans.
