Pokemon Collection Y was part of Japan's XY-era release cycle in 2013, arriving during a period when the TCG was experiencing renewed international momentum. These Japanese sets often featured distinctive artwork and special sets that preceded or complemented their English counterparts, making them particularly valued by collectors seeking regional variants and early printings of popular Pokemon. Simipour represents the water-type evolution line introduced in Generation V. Collectors appreciate Japanese Collection Y cards for their crisp presentation and the appealing illustrations typical of this era's artwork style. These regional releases hold special appeal for those building comprehensive collections or seeking cards before their wider English distribution.
