The Pokémon TCG experienced a resurgence in 2023 as the hobby continued its post-pandemic momentum. This Venusaur & Lugia ex deck represented the modern era's approach to theme decks—curated starter products featuring competitive playability alongside nostalgic appeal. Holo cards from these supplemental products became increasingly sought by collectors building complete modern sets and those seeking accessible entry points to graded collections. Parasect, the bug-grass evolution line's final form, appears here as a solid supporting card in the deck's ecosystem. The holo treatment catches light beautifully across the card's surface, showcasing the detailed artwork that defines contemporary Pokémon card design. Collectors appreciate these deck inclusions as they represent complete capture of a product release's contents.
