The Mewtwo LV. X Collection Pack represented a significant moment in Japanese Pokémon TCG releases during the late 2000s. These premium boxed sets paired competitive playable cards with sought-after holographic promos, driving interest from both players and collectors. The inclusion of powerful LV. X mechanics made these releases relevant to the competitive scene while their limited distribution ensured lasting appeal among Japanese set collectors. Luxray's inclusion in this collection pack highlights the electric-type's prominence during this era. Collectors appreciate this holo version for its striking artwork and the card's appeal as both a competitive option and a visually compelling addition to collections. Japanese promos from these premium sets remain popular targets for those building comprehensive collections of specific Pokémon or pursuing complete Japanese set lineups.
