Shiny Treasure ex represents a major milestone in Japanese Pokémon TCG history as one of the first sets to prominently feature full-art shiny variants of popular creatures. Released in 2024, it marked an era where collectors enthusiastically pursued alternative artwork treatments alongside traditional pulls. The set captured the hobby's shift toward celebrating visual appeal and collectibility through premium shiny presentations that appealed to both competitive players and art-focused enthusiasts. Nacli, the salt Pokémon, appears here in its shiny form with the distinctive coloring that sets it apart from standard releases. Collectors are drawn to shiny variants for their rarity designation and alternate artwork appeal, particularly when depicting Pokémon from recent generations. This card represents the accessible entry point many collectors seek when building shiny collections across evolving product lines.
