Shiny Treasure ex arrived in 2023 as one of Japanese Pokémon TCG's most celebrated modern releases. The set showcased alternate-art and reverse-holo treatments that elevated card presentation across the entire lineup, earning strong collector enthusiasm during an era when Japanese releases were gaining renewed attention in the Western market. This reverse-holo Pidgey captures the charming simplicity that defines the character—a foundational Pokémon many collectors encounter early in their journey. The shimmering treatment on reverse holos creates distinctive visual appeal, making even common Pokémon feel special and collectible.
