# Card Notes The Playboy Chromium Cover Cards Edition 3 set represents a distinctive crossover collectible from the 1990s, when chromium technology was reshaping the trading card landscape. These cards captured the iconic imagery of Playboy's most memorable cover editions, blending mainstream nostalgia with collectible card culture during an era defined by experimental premium releases and unconventional subject matter pushing the hobby's boundaries. The April 1969 cover issue brings together two distinctly American cultural touchstones from that pivotal year.
