Shiny Treasure ex represents a landmark release in the Japanese Pokémon TCG, delivering the modern full-art aesthetic that defined the era. This 2023 set captured collectors' imaginations by combining Shiny Pokémon—rare alternate colorations from the video games—with the dynamic ex mechanic, creating cards that felt both nostalgic and contemporary. The set became a cornerstone of the post-Sword & Shield collecting landscape, valued for its visual appeal and competitive relevance. Forretress ex appears as a Shiny variant, rendering this steel fortress in an alternate color palette that distinguishes it from standard printings. The full-art treatment showcases the Pokémon in striking detail, making it a particularly appealing pull for those collecting Shiny versions or building complete set collections. Japanese full-art cards from this era remain consistently sought after for their superior print quality and artistic presentation.
