Upper Deck's 1997 autograph sets marked a pivotal moment when on-card signatures became standard in premium releases. The Auto line represented the company's commitment to authenticity and direct player engagement during an era when autograph cards were gaining serious collector traction. These sets bridged traditional card collecting with the emerging memorabilia market, establishing expectations that persist today. Floyd Little's signature on this card captures one of professional football's most respected figures. The Denver Broncos legend and Hall of Famer represents the caliber of athletes Upper Deck pursued for their autograph programs. Collectors value Little's cards for both his pioneering impact on the game and the authenticity of his on-card inscription.
