The set featured artistic renderings of NFL stars and represented Pacific's creative approach to football cards during an era when the market was expanding rapidly. These inserts captured the aesthetic sensibilities of the time while establishing the company as a notable player in sports card production. Thurman Thomas was one of the Buffalo Bills' cornerstones during their dominant early-1990s run, and this card celebrates his prominence during that era.
