Speed Duel: Battle City Finals brought Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG back to its beloved Battle City arc, capturing the nostalgia of the original anime tournament. Released in 2024, this set reconnected longtime fans with iconic moments and characters from the series' most memorable storyline. The Speed Duel format itself revitalized interest in faster, streamlined gameplay, making classic Yu-Gi-Oh! accessible to both returning collectors and newer players seeking the franchise's roots. The End of Anubis represents one of the arc's most significant supernatural threats, a card that embodies the darker, more dramatic elements of Battle City. Its inclusion in this set reflects the careful curation of cards that defined that legendary tournament, making it particularly sought after by collectors who want to relive or complete their Battle City collections.
