The Marvel Wolverine "From Then 'Til Now" II set arrived during the early 1990s trading card boom, when Marvel properties dominated collector interest. Released by a major sports card manufacturer pivoting into comic books, this series captured the X-Men universe at a moment when mutant characters had never been more popular. The set represents a snapshot of that era's enthusiasm for Marvel's extended roster and storylines. Shadowcat stands among the X-Men's most compelling characters, and her inclusion in this set reflects her significance within the team dynamic.
