Pride of the Saiyans arrived during Dragon Ball Super's peak collectibility window, when the TCG was experiencing explosive growth among both new and veteran players. The 2020 set offered accessible entry points while delivering chase cards that defined the era, establishing itself as a cornerstone release that balanced competitive playability with compelling character representation across the franchise's expansive roster. Yamcha's Merciless Barrage captures the often-underestimated warrior in a moment of determined combat, reflecting his character arc as a capable fighter despite his reputation for comedic misfortune. Collectors appreciate this card for its dynamic artwork and the nostalgic appeal of seeing Yamcha receive meaningful support during the Super TCG's golden period, making it a worthwhile addition to any Dragon Ball collection.
