Paldean Fates emerged in 2024 as a landmark release, bridging the Scarlet and Violet generation with special shiny variants that delighted collectors seeking alternative artwork and rare pull rates. This set represented the hobby's continued evolution toward premium special editions, appealing to both competitive players and collectors drawn to the thrill of chasing scarce variants. Tinkatuff's shiny form captures the appeal of this subset—the familiar Pokémon rendered in eye-catching alternate coloration that transforms its appearance entirely. Collectors pursue shiny rares for their relative scarcity and the distinctive visual impact they bring to collections, making each pull feel like a genuine discovery.
