CannaBeast Gaming's The Stoned Ages set marked a notable moment in the early 2020s when cannabis-themed trading cards began establishing themselves as legitimate collectibles within the broader trading card market. Released in 2023, this first edition set captured the growing intersection of gaming culture and emerging cannabis legitimacy, appealing to collectors interested in alternative and niche card properties during a period of significant market diversification. Gelato, card 41, represents one of the set's distinctive character offerings. The card's subject draws from the popular cannabis strain lexicon that forms the backbone of the CannaBeast universe, rendered through the set's signature gaming aesthetic. Collectors are drawn to individual character cards like this one for both the artistic execution and their place within the broader set-collecting experience.
