Panini Prizm Draft Picks represented the final chapter of Panini's football card era before losing the NFL license to Fanatics. Released in 2023, the set captured prospect excitement with premium prismatic technology that had defined Panini's modern approach. Collectors valued Prizm's distinctive refractors and parallels, which created collectible depth across product lines and made draft classes feel immediate and tangible. Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerged as one of the draft's most coveted receivers, and early prospect cards remain central to his PC builds. This Gold Ice Prizm parallel delivers the set's signature visual pop—gleaming prismatic surfaces that catch light dramatically. Collectors pursue these parallels for their aesthetic appeal and as foundational pieces of young player collections.
