Garbage Pail Kids experienced a major renaissance in the early 2020s as the brand embraced modern pop culture and nostalgia-driven collecting. The Book Worms set captured this revival moment, transforming literary classics and academic themes into the irreverent, humorous parodies that defined the franchise since its 1985 debut. These sets proved that GPK remained culturally relevant across generations of collectors. Split Kit plays on the literary world with characteristic GPK wit, delivering the crude humor and imaginative artwork that drives collector interest. The card exemplifies the set's approach to blending educational references with outrageous subject matter, making it a memorable entry that appeals to both longtime fans and newer collectors discovering the brand's enduring appeal.
