Garbage Pail Kids made a triumphant return in 2022 with the Book Worms series, proving the irreverent brand remained culturally relevant decades after its 1980s heyday. This set captured the franchise's signature grotesque humor while embracing contemporary themes, appealing to both nostalgic collectors and a new generation discovering the cards' anarchic charm. The Book Worms collection stood out as a celebration of literary culture twisted through the GPK lens.
