Garbage Pail Kids experienced a major resurgence in the early 2020s as collectors rediscovered the brand's irreverent humor and artistic tradition. The Book Worms series exemplified this revival, offering fresh parody concepts wrapped in the vibrant, detailed illustration style that defined GPK's legacy. These sets proved the franchise remained culturally relevant and creatively vital decades after its origins. Pierced Percy delivers the grotesque visual comedy GPK collectors crave, transforming a innocent-sounding name into something thoroughly absurd through its artwork. The Booger Green parallel version adds chromatic variation that appeals to set completionists and those drawn to the card's particular aesthetic treatment. It's a character that embodies what makes the brand endure—crude, clever, and impossible to forget.
