Topps Garbage Pail Kids made a triumphant return in 2022 with the Book Worms series, continuing the brand's legacy of irreverent parody and satirical humor. These sets captured the spirit that made GPK a cultural phenomenon in the 1980s, blending gross-out comedy with clever wordplay. The Book Worms installment proved the franchise's enduring appeal to both nostalgic collectors and newcomers discovering these infamous cards for the first time. Decaying Dorian exemplifies the series' dark humor, offering a twisted literary reference wrapped in the grotesque artwork GPK collectors have always cherished. The card's clever title and eye-catching design make it a standout in the set, appealing to fans who appreciate both the comedic premise and the skilled illustration work that brings each character to vivid, uncomfortable life.
