Lost Origin arrived in late 2022 as one of the final sets of the Sword & Shield era, capturing a moment when Pokémon TCG remained at peak popularity following years of sustained collector interest. The set introduced the Lugia VSTAR mechanic and explored the lore of the Poké Ball Factory, marking a bridge between classic and modern gameplay. Full Art cards became increasingly sought-after during this period as collectors valued both playability and aesthetic appeal. Fantina, the Ghost-type specialist Gym Leader from the Sinnoh region, appears here in her full art glory—a format that showcases the character's distinctive style and personality. Collectors are drawn to full art trainer cards for their superior artwork and the way they capture each character's essence beyond their mechanical function. Fantina's card represents the intersection of character design and artistic presentation that defines the modern Pokémon TCG collecting experience.
