Silver Tempest arrived in late 2022 as one of the final mainline sets before the Scarlet and Violet era. It represented the twilight of the Sword and Shield block, closing out a generation with vibrant, experimental artwork and strong collector interest. The set balanced nostalgic appeal with forward momentum, making it memorable for players and collectors alike during a transformative moment in the Pokémon TCG. Kricketune V showcases the full-art treatment that defined Silver Tempest's visual identity, rendering this often-overlooked Pokémon with striking detail and dynamic composition. Full-art V cards from this period gained traction among collectors seeking beautiful alternatives to standard holos, and this card exemplifies why—it elevates a lesser-seen Pokémon into something genuinely compelling to display.
