Paldean Fates arrived in late 2024 as a special set celebrating the Scarlet and Violet era with a curated collection of Illustration Rare cards. These premium releases marked a shift in how The Pokémon Company presented artistic variants, blending nostalgic card stock with contemporary artwork that emphasized character design and visual storytelling over mechanical innovation. Palafin's Illustration Rare showcases the beloved Water-type dolphin Pokémon in dynamic form, capturing both its playful nature and elegant design. Collectors are drawn to this card for its striking artwork and Palafin's popularity among fans, making it a natural centerpiece for players and art enthusiasts alike.
