Glory of the Rocket Gang represents a significant chapter in Japanese Pokémon's ongoing exploration of Team Rocket lore. Released in 2025, the set continues the franchise's tradition of villain-focused releases that deepen the competitive landscape while appealing to collectors drawn to the organization's aesthetic and mythology. These sets have carved out a dedicated following among players and enthusiasts who appreciate the thematic storytelling woven through each release. Team Rocket's Drowzee captures the psychic Pokémon in its most sinister iteration—aligned with the criminal organization rather than the wild or trainer-owned versions familiar to most collectors. The card's artwork emphasizes Drowzee's eerie nature, making it a compelling pull for those building themed collections around antagonistic forces in the Pokémon universe.
