Dragon Storm arrived during Japanese Pokemon's golden period of experimental set design, when the TCG was pushing artistic boundaries and gameplay innovation simultaneously. The set represented a turning point where Japanese releases began commanding serious collector attention worldwide, establishing these imports as legitimate alternatives to English printings rather than regional curiosities. Kommo-o's full-art holo treatment captures the pseudo-legendary's imposing presence with dynamic composition and vibrant coloring. This card exemplifies why Dragon Storm became sought after—the intersection of compelling creature design, striking visual presentation, and the nostalgic appeal of late-era Sun & Moon era Pokemon. Collectors value it as both a playable card and a gallery piece.
