Panini's 2021 Rookies & Stars Airborne set marked a significant moment in football card collecting, showcasing the year's rookie class through dynamic photography and vibrant prismatic technology. The Airborne subset elevated the visual presentation with its distinctive scope design, creating layered depth and color-shifting effects that became hallmarks of premium Panini releases during this era. These cards represented the height of modern rookie card appeal before the company's exit from the NFL license. Kellen Mond's rookie card captures the Texas A&M quarterback at the outset of his professional journey. The Red Scope Prizm parallels were particularly sought after by collectors drawn to both the player's prospect profile and the striking visual impact of the colored prism technology. Mond cards from this set remain popular with those building rookie collections or following his career development.
