Panini Select represented the final chapter of the company's NBA card production before losing their license. Released in 2023, Select maintained the brand's reputation for premium design and vibrant refractor technology. The Blue Prizm parallel became iconic within the Select ecosystem, offering collectors a striking visual alternative to base versions while remaining accessible compared to the rarest parallels. LeBron James cards from this era capture one of basketball's greatest players in his later seasons. Collectors pursue Select releases featuring LeBron for their artistic presentation and the nostalgia of Panini's closing year. This Blue Prizm variant combines both elements—a legendary subject rendered in the distinctive prismatic treatment that defined Select's visual identity.
