# Card Notes The Playboy Chromium Cover Cards Edition 1 from 1995 represents a distinctive moment when trading card manufacturers explored licensed properties beyond sports and entertainment franchises. This set brought the iconic Playboy magazine covers into the collectible card market during a period of rapid experimentation in the hobby. The chromium technology added visual appeal and helped distinguish these cards from standard offerings of the era.
