Topps Garbage Pail Kids made a significant return in 2020 with Late to School, marking a major moment for the brand's revival in the modern collecting era. The series captured the irreverent humor that originally defined GPK in the 1980s, introducing new generations to parody-driven card collecting while rekindling nostalgia for longtime fans. These colorful, variant-heavy releases became central to the broader trading card renaissance of that period. Kicked Kyle presents the series' signature blend of absurdist humor and eye-catching artwork. The Jelly Purple parallel adds visual appeal with its distinctive coloring, making it a sought-after chase card among GPK collectors who appreciate both the comedic subject matter and the technical variations that define modern GPK collecting.
