Panini Select arrived in 2022 as the company's final release before losing its UFC license, making it a meaningful capstone to their nearly decade-long run with the sport. The set was known for its premium finishes and innovative prismatic technology, with Cracked Ice becoming one of the most visually striking parallels collectors pursued. Select represented the pinnacle of what modern UFC card design could achieve in that era. This Jan Blachowicz card showcases the light heavyweight champion during a peak period of his career. The Cracked Ice parallel's fractured, iridescent pattern creates a dynamic visual effect that appeals to both UFC enthusiasts and collectors drawn to technical card artistry. Blachowicz remains a respected figure in the sport, making his premium Select cards sought after by those documenting his legacy.
