Panini Prizm Legendary Signatures represented the company's final premium offering before losing the UFC license, making 2023 a notable year for collectors. The set celebrated the sport's most significant figures through autographed cards and special parallels. Gold Prizm parallels became synonymous with mid-tier chase variants—accessible yet distinctly premium—defining how modern collectors approached building sets across the trading card hobby. Matt Serra's signature card captures a pivotal UFC competitor whose technical striking and underdog narrative resonated deeply with fans. As a former welterweight champion, Serra remains memorable for his upset victory and his contribution to the sport's technical evolution. Collectors seek this parallel for its combination of subject matter and the prismatic aesthetic that made Panini's Prizm line distinctive.
