Panini Donruss Optic emerged as a cornerstone set of early 2020s sports card collecting, combining the heritage of the classic Donruss brand with modern optical technology. The Opti-Graphs insert series spotlighted athlete autographs alongside dynamic photography, while the Blue Prizm parallel elevated visual appeal through prismatic effects. This 2023 release captured the hobby during a period of renewed mainstream interest in collectible cards. Daniel Cormier's signature on this card reflects his status as one of mixed martial arts' most accomplished and recognizable champions. The former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight titleholder remains a compelling subject for sports card collectors, particularly those devoted to MMA crossover releases. Cormier's decorated fighting career and mainstream visibility make his autographed cards sought-after across the collecting community.
